FRIEDRICH MOTORSPORT 76MM (3 Inch) SYSTEMS

In many vehicle classes, vehicles are visually differentiated according to equipment and motorisation by the number and positioning of the tailpipes at the rear of the vehicle. Many top models have so-called duplex systems with one or two tailpipes on each side. Our duplex systems offer the possibility to upgrade the vehicle not only in terms of sound and performance, but also optically. The Friedrich Motorsport 3 inch (76 mm) systems replace the original rear silencer and front silencer. The outer diameter of the pipe is 3 inches (76 mm), this is ideal for vehicles with already higher performance, whose systems usually have an outer pipe diameter of 55-60 mm. The systems are based on the absorption principle, i.e. screen tubes pass through the silencers, which results in lower exhaust back pressure and thus an increase in power and torque. Due to the enlarged pipe cross section and the optimised exhaust backpressure behaviour, these systems are also suitable for performance increases. We release these systems up to an output of approx. 330 kW per exhaust gas train. In comparison to the series system, a muffled and powerful sound image is created. For the individual design of the rear of the vehicle you can choose between the constantly increasing number of tailpipe variants. Unless otherwise indicated in the instructions, the scope of delivery always includes an EC type approval. The mounting material usually consists of clamps and corresponding adapters if these are necessary for mounting.

Ideal for turbo engines from 1.6l displacement and naturally aspirated engines with 8 or 10 cylinders.

Vehicles with turbocharged engines and over 2.0 L displacement, or with 8–10-cylinder naturally aspirated engines, already have 60 mm or larger tailpipes from the factory. We developed our single- and double-flow 76 mm systems for these vehicles. We certify these systems up to power output of about 330 KW per exhaust line. The increased pipe cross section and optimized exhaust back pressure behaviour make these systems suitable for increasing performance as well.
